A grand old building in an excellent location, close to the railway station and Malioboro Street. And with a swimming pool, perfect for hot afternoons.
The rooms were adequate but good value for the price I was paying for.
However I did find some dirt on my pillow but I brushed it off. Also Western travellers should be warned that the are traditional Indonesian style bathrooms in the rooms. At least in my room, so a squat toilet with no toilet paper, or flush, and a cold shower. I didn't mind but others might.

Great hotel, central location, Plenty of shops with a shopping mall 200 metres away end of street with late night shopping every night, Lucifer pub on the corner other end of street 100 metres away for Bintangs. Swimming pool and fish pond, upgrades available to 2 bed or 3 bed family, Only thing negative is no restaurant but 7/11 Indomart 10metres across the road each side every 50 metres apart.

Hôtel charmant à taille humaine
Hotel charmant avec un personnel très attentionné et très serviable. Propreté impeccable. Dans un rue très proche du centre ville et de la gare, peu bruyante. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet hôtel.
