"The experience with staff and facilities was very good overall. The front desk and restaurant employees were excellent. The resort is very quiet and one might feel as if you have the place almost to yourself. There was a couple of downsides, that one might expect. You are in the jungle and there may very well be bugs (read spiders). They assured us that none are harmful. The bathrooms somehow are aging worse than the rest of the rooms. "This is a very charming, new-looking bed and breakfast just a few minutes' drive outside Izamal. Our cabin was very nice, clean, and quiet with good AC. Good communication with the owner, who is also very good with English. Breakfast is flexible, with good menu options available ordered the night before for a specific time. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling by car looking to stay in the area."
