"Room interiors are dated and poorly maintained, mildew all around the sunken onsen tub. Wifi in room kept dropping and was difficult to establish a connection. Staff service across the entire hotel was the worst! Front desk staff refuses to explain any of the activities available for guests when asked, shoved the program sheet at me told me to read myself instead. Restaurant staff would not entertain a special request to order fried rice, told me to order a full child's set menu and plain rice...

"We loved staying here. Chris and Vivi were really friendly and welcoming, giving us excellent suggestions for places to visit and eat on our trip. Their English was perfect. The traditional Taiwanese homemade breakfast was as delicious as it looks. They also serve a variety of nice teas and coffees. "Quite nice stay, rooms and bathroom very clean, beds are very firm and comfortable, A/C is efficient in cooling. The half board deal was quite nice especially dinner options were delicious. We took advantage of the shuttle to Jiaoxi Train Station. Overall stay was enjoyable. Although there are other more expensive options around town, this one was good enough value."
