"Staff friendly on arrival . Room small but had basic supplies and rack for clothes . Very little bench space in bathroom. Shower gel bottles discoloured so could be replaced . Had to ask for towels as staff missed supplying them . Room did not feel 100% clean - stray hairs on bathroom floor observed . Property a good option during summer as right on the beach . Did not find a cafe in walking distance for morning coffee ( only HJ’s or servo). Property will be more attractive option if restaurant opens overlooking beach at front of property to offer coffee. For price paid during off season , staying in town would have been a better option for us and only slightly more to pay. "

"Parking space was very small and difficult to park with a larger car, particularly when guest using the adjacent parking space was allowed to also park his trailer and butted out across the parking space. Entrance doors very loud on closing, both when the guests returned and when the cleaners started early. We booked into a rear studio and warned to ensure the alarm was activated on the back door at all times for safety reasons. Didn't instill a sense of calm. Apartment well equipped and clean. TV didn't work."

"The Hermitage is a lovely heritages building on a large block with a secure fence keeping your pets and vehicles safe. The interior is comfortable and well suited to pets. "
