"Mary made us very welcome in her house and makes a magnificent breakfast. It really is in deepest Dartmoor and Mary has lots of maps and suggestions of walks to do from the property. There is a "quirky" pub within 20 minutes walk away. Mary can arrange horse riding as well.
A perfect place to stay if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle. There's only two rooms so it's not going to be overcrowded."
"We stayed just one night at The Burrator Inn but what a lovely stay. We had a tasty dinner before retiring to our large, well furnished, comfortable bedroom. The room was warm and welcoming with a good en suite bathroom. The breakfast menu was excellent, and the staff friendly and efficient. We would certainly recommend it to our friends."

"Loved the stay.
Breakfast was great, and the gentleman maitre-de adorable.
Would have liked an EV destination charger in the garage."
"We booked a one night stay to visit family and see a show. Loved our room. We booked a standard with a sea view and it was perfect. The room itself was clean and pretty. The bathroom was nicely done. The view was spectacular! We had a balcony we could sit outside on to enjoy a drink and the view. Bed was comfy and room not too hot. Great soundproofing as there was an alarm going off all night nearby but we couldn't hear it. OH struggles to sleep when we are away due to room temp and bed comfort. This is probably the second time he has ever slept right through the night so bonus points for that. Only a couple of things to mention. Would have been nice to be able to enjoy a sun lounger on the balcony. It was big enough for a couple. There was no toilet brush in bathroom. These things are hardly a deal breaker. Staff were very friendly and we couldn't ask for more really. Felt the room price was about right for the room and the view. We will definitely return! "

"Liz on reception was lovely and went out of her way for us. I had booked 2 nights with 2 different vouchers. 1 through Tesco clubcard and 1 through redletter.
Liz managed to accommodate us in 1 room over both nights, this room was just above the flag pole. This is a traditional British hotel with a lovely sea view. The room was clean and tidy. The bathroom was apricot, definitely from the 70’s. We will be back. "
