"Really big place, excellent in-floor heating, great bedrooms, really quiet. Would recommend for two or three couples or a family. It also had a really great long cord for plugging in the car overnight. Would have been great if it had a shovel -- we borrowed one from Yellowknife Tours across the back alley. Good location for downtown shopping and convenient quick drive (or $8 taxi) to Old Yellowknife areas and to anywhere else we wanted to go. Be sure to let any tours you know to pick you up in the back alley -- it's a long walk around to go to the front yard. And yes, there is a pizza place in the front yard. Fun bonus!"

"The thermostat in the room wasn’t functional and the room stayed at 30°c all night, making sleep almost impossible. The rooms shown in pictures while booking don’t get close to matching in person, there was bare plywood covering a window that must be broken, the tub components were coming off of the wall, and the room was far smaller than shown. Staff were friendly. But the whole building also stank "
