Yarary - Cap Cana Holidays from AU$4,979

A great last-minute find! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and excellent value for money this resort offered. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were modern and very well maintained, and the beach was fantastic. The property is huge, but the golf cart service makes getting around easy. The gym was great, the food was decent (a little more fresh fruit variety would be nice), and the snack bar was a highlight, especially its convenient ordering system. It’s also very family-friendly and a great option for a short getaway. My only suggestion would be to improve the evening entertainment, which felt a little underwhelming compared to other resorts. Overall, I had a wonderful three-day stay and would definitely recommend it to families looking for a good-value all-inclusive vacation!

This is now our fourth stay at the Majestic Resorts in Punta Cana and the second at Majestic Mirage. The staff are more than a 5 star if it was allowed, the attention, friendliness, courtesy is beyond anything we have experienced. The restaurants are at least 4.0 (Don Jaume in the Mirage is a 5, best churrasco I have ever had - so tender). The Mirage is now about 10 years and you can tell that in the not too distant future it may need a facelift - nothing major, but you can start seeing some age show up. The beach is nice except for the vendors that walk through the lines of palapas and cabanas which was not the case five years ago when we first went, if you ignore them or say a quick no they leave. I will continue to visit in the future and invite friends along.

The AC did not get very cold. There were also very few places that had AC to find relief from the heat. The Buffet is all outside and it was sweltering. Even with the fan on, we were sweating at night with the blankets. The pool was disgusting, floating plastic cups, lots of dead bugs, and random trash. The food wasn't 5 star level at all. The room service was inedible. The paella was really good and some of the restaurants had some good options. I found myself not eating many things, because they tasted gross. As an example, they used ketchup for the shrimp cocktail dipping sauce. The staff was not very helpful and any questions (activities, reservations, etc.). I tried attending many different listed activities (cocktail workshop, etc.) and no staff member knew what I was asking about. The entertainment was really good and the drinks were good! This place is a 3 star. Not a 5 star, luxury resort like they advertise. I would not stay here again or recommend this resort. I would look elsewhere.
