"Overall, it was wonderful. Spacious room, comfortable bed and dog friendly. However, we did have some ants in our room (mostly kitchen), and the WiFi was spotty. The pool also opened later than posted on Friday, which was unfortunate but likely out of the properties control. We will definitely be back, especially when the restaurant and lodge are back open."

"Would suggest to bring a fan for upstairs bedrooms. warm. lower bedroom and living mid area cool and comfortable. The aluminum dock was so nice. padded sides so didn't have to use bumpers for the boats. Usually take pontoon to a cove where we can get out to cool off and swim but this dock was so perfect we didn't have to do that. Kitchen well stocked with everything for meal prep. Very large deck with view of water was nice place to drink morning coffee. Will return"

"The cabin was very clean & the screened-in deck, that had the hot tub, was used the most! We didn't think there were enough towels, until we found them on the last night in a dresser. Might be better if they were kept either in the main bathroom closet or underneath the bathroom sinks. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking, If you want a quiet tranquil place, this is your cabin, as it is very peaceful. You do have to drive to get anywhere, including the 3 pools & the garbage compactor, and the five-mile road, leading to the resort, takes about 10-15 minutes to drive, but once down off the hill, you are within 10 minutes from several stores and restaurants."

"We enjoyed our stay at Bear's Den! Everything was well described in the property description and it was very clean! The hosts communication was excellent and the delicious homemade Almond Poppy Seed bread and fresh eggs were an added treat! The location was very close to Cumberland Falls Resort Park where we went and saw the Moonbow one night and was a short drive to Sterns KY for the Big South Fork Railway trip to the old Blue Heron Coal Mine. On our way out we also went to the Natural Arch Recreational area and enjoyed our hike and saw 2 arches. Highly recommend this rental for a private, quiet getaway!"
