"We had a really lovely stay here. We felt totally immersed in the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese Ryokan. The food was both delicious and always beautifully presented. We are really glad that we made this stop as part of our travels around Japan. Mount Fuji was mostly covered in isolated low level cloud, but we did get a gorgeous view once or twice. "We stayed 2 nights. Hotel is just outside Shizuoka Station. Easy Shinkansen links along Tokaido Line. There are multiple buses to just about anywhere too. Lots of shopping and dining options around galore. Property itself is cosy and beds are comfortable. Hot showers are good too. Staff are friendly and serve with a smile. Overall a great place to stay!"
