"We had a wonderful time at the hotel, the beaches are some of the best in the world, all to yourselves. The food was always enjoyable with each meal being freshly prepared on site. Our stay was made extra special by the wonderful hosts who were so friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. While the property is not the a five star hotel, the views (at night as well), silent surroundings, and food were perfect and we would absolutely stay here again!"

"My husband and I had an absolutu fantastic stay here for 3 nights - it's the perfect base to explore the island while being located close to Ishigaki centre for great food options and amenities. The swimming pool was a fantastic length to do laps in, and the buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of western and Asian options. Our room was spotless with a beautiful view over the ocean. We will definitely be coming back to stay again! "

"We loved our time at Cago Guest House. My husband and I stayed for two nights and wish we stayed longer. Taketomi is a beautiful, quiet island and Cago is the perfect place to stay and enjoy it. "I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Iriomote. There's lots of space on the property, including a massive bathroom and a huge terrace, with a sea view where you can see the stars at night.
