"Our room was very spacious, but basic. No frills at all. The heated pool was lovely, but after swimming peacefully for about 15 minutes my husband joined me and so did a staff member. She sat on a chair and did a speaker phone call with family (including an excited, screaming child) and ruined the whole peaceful o space. "For a cheap style hotel located on the far outskirts of Hanoi it was surprisingly good. The rooms are large, air-conditioned and have two big double beds (hard matresses) and a small private bathroom (a bit run down but good hot water). Room even has a smart TV....but that's about it. Located in a very quiet street but very limited food options, especially after dark. We used it as a stop over from Cat Ba to SaPa which was ideal. Much better than the over populated and way too busy Hanoi Old...
