Families travelling with children will also appreciate the convenience and calm of staying near the main beach. The shallow, clear waters are good for younger swimmers, and there's space for children to play on the sand.

You'll also find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer months, allowing for a more relaxed and enjoyable trip.

For those looking for a quiet escape, the shoulder seasons are ideal. The beaches and local tavernas are less busy, offering a more peaceful experience. You can enjoy long walks along the coast or explore the countryside without the intense heat and bustle of high summer.

If you're seeking the liveliest atmosphere and don't mind higher temperatures and more people, July and August are also popular.
