"I had the room on the 2nd floor with the view over the lake. The room was clean and impeccable, I slept amazingly well, with no noise and a great bed. The hotel is not in the old town of Dali, but in less than an hour drive you can reach all you want and you avoid the crowds. "

"The first visual impression of Secret Manor was a very positive one- classic ancient Chinese architecture. We are greeted by friendly staff who took care of our luggages and sat us down. Refreshments were served while the staff worked on the check-in. After which, the staff brought us to our room and explained the details on switches and other amenities. "We had a very restful stay at Qing Pu Villa. it is in a beautiful corner of Jingsuo island. The team took care of us very well, led by Lysand. Food was superb and the rooms are beautifully furnished with adequate facilities for the cold. Ly Sand is warm and friendly, even carrying our 2 month old baby who was fussy while we enjoyed our meals. The staff dried out our shoes with a warmer before we left and they were delightful to wear ! This is a hidden gem!"
