I was actually anticipating a kind of run-down, old hotel in a backwater WV town. It was beautiful. My room was really nice, and it. was. spotless. Tons of free parking on-site. The front desk was super helpful in finding a place to eat. If I had *any* complaint at all, it was the in-hotel bar was closed by the time I got there. Other than that, I was really pleased. I would definitely stay again."

"This was a charming and comfortable base for biking and hiking in the Canaan Valley and areas beyond. We appreciated both the privacy of the bedrooms and the ample space in the living/dining room and kitchen. Nice views off the balcony, easy to use hot tub added to our enjoyment of the property."
