"Very nice unit"

"My booking was confirmed and the host contacted me later the next day to tell me they were overbooked. They said they had been booked for my stay for over 2 months. Property was on several sites. How they did not know this for 2 months is beyond my comprehension. They apologized and basically told me it was my problem to deal with and also told me to cancel. I did not cancel, I contacted Expedia to have them handle it. They found me an amazing property. It was further away, but very nice and top quality. Very pleased with how Expedia handled it. "

"On arrival we were presented with an AMAZING basket of goodies, Stanthorpe cloudy apple juice, milk, cereal, freshly baked croissants, freshly baked bread, marmalade from the property and honey. Whoops, almost forgot to mention the bacon and eggs!! So thoughtful and delicious. The rooms were colonial style, slightly tired, but very clean. It was lovely to have a balcony to sit on in the afternoon and there was a woodheap with firewood. This would be a wonderful winter destination for travellers. "

"Glenn and Heidi's cabin was so beautiful went over and above our expectations. Loved all the creature comforts especially the spa on the deck. Clean comfortable and a lovely outlook facing the river and parkland. Would high recommend this place. So handy walking distance to town. "

"The staff are so friendly. Take advantage of the opportunity to taste the wines of this boutique winery. The fortified wines (port) are especially excellent!! We used the pizza oven as well as the BBQ to cook dinner. A great asset to these adorable cabins in a beautiful spot. "

"We had a beautiful, relaxing stay at The Rocks. Watching the Kangaroos & Joeys in the early morning and late evenings. It was just what we needed and I highly recommend it. "
