"The hotel seemed good value for money and included a good breakfast. Bed was comfortable and shower was good. Good smart TV. Room was adjacent to the road so a little noisy but not much problem for sleep. Fish and chip meal was excellent quality. A negative is that car parking in the near car park is short term and Hotel does not refund. The long term is some 5 minutes walk away with meters but due to last years flood the meters did not work and the parking was free. Will probably end one day."

Doug and Nikki were perfect hosts ,very welcoming and helpful.There are many places of interest to visit in the area and we both walked and cycled .The high light for us was watching deer walking in the lane at breakfast time."
