The hotel is a very typical German country hotel, immaculately clean with nice staff and comfortable rooms and a slight 'furnished in the 70s' feel, but in a nice way. Weekend breakfast staff were particularly welcoming and very friendly. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area about 15 minutes walk from a footbridge over the river Mein which takes you over to Veitshochheim where there are nice riverfront...

The central location of the hotel was perfect for attending a conference at the Congress Zentrum and also for seeing a bit of the city. The hotel is a walkable distance from the train station. Rooms were always kept clean and neat, the bed was comfortable, and the room came with a couple of fans to help with the warmth (very important on the top floor!).
