"What a lovely place in a beautiful location, west side of the Lake District. All the home comforts you could need including reclining sofa and a washing machine! Clean, comfortable and warm with excellent wifi connection. Thank you to the friendly hosts Colin and Lesley who were to hand if anything was needed but who were not intrusive or interferring at all. "Lovely cottage, well-equipped. Wonderful position for walking straight from the cottage, and the valley with its birdsong and red squirrels is a joy. The track up to the cottage has some slightly challenging moments for a standard small car that’s low to the ground, but we managed fine. Overall, a magical cottage in a magical setting."

"Fantastic location & views. Very basic which let it down. Not great when you travelled 4hrs on the road & not find any milk in fridge for a cup of tea. Lovely shower but all the mould let it down (even the fake plant was covered in mould). Tiny bath towels and no blind on window,Hole in fence has not been fixed but some broken chairs put in front which didn't take my dogs long to figure out & no outside light in garden so i had to use my phone torch to make sure they did not escape at night....

"New kitchen, nice living room, small bathroom and double room. A good number of DVDs. We found ourself comfortable in the cottage, if you plan to stay in 3 or more people you may want an additional bathroom. Internet connection good enough. We would stay again"

"An absolutely lovely stay at this cottage in January. The cottage is lovely, warm, clean and cosy, had everything you could possibly want. Loved the little touches like the scones and biscuits and milk. Bed very comfy and such great service from the owners. Would definitely stay again! "
