"Hotel accommodations and staff were excellent. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, very clean and nice assortment of amenities. Location is good as there are many places (restaurants, shops, etc). within walking distance. Also convenient to the airport as we had an early flight to Stewart Island for the day. "

"This place is a gem! Noel & Di welcomed us into their home, and it was so lovely after a series of slightly soulless hotels we stayed in during our travels around South Island. It’s a quirky place but all the better for it! We ate at a restaurant called Rocks in Invercargill and the steaks were excellent. Thanks to Noel for his recommendations on the Catlins. "

"The apartment we stayed in was great. It was much more spacious than I expected and had everything we needed. We loved having the washer/dryer in unit to catch up on laundry during our trip around the south island. My wife was bothered by the incense or scented oil smell they used here. It was on the excessive side. The parking was also not ideal. They do have 'on-site' parking near the hotel entrance but it's a very small lot. We were given a pass but left to go explore some areas and came...
