"We stayed in this cute cabin for the Iowa vs Ohio State football game. Ben was a great host and communication was top notch! The cabin was clean and well stocked. Loved the fact we didn't have to go out to a store right away to stock up on necessities. Kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us. We felt safe and secluded on the property. Even had a couple of deer visit us in the morning. Loved the fact that there was a binder with lots of information in it for the cabin and the surrounding area. It is a cozy little cabin but fit our needs perfectly."

"Breakfast was not included in our price. We could purchase it for $10. We just went out. We stayed 2 nights. The rooms and hallways were clean. The AC worked great. The beds were comfortable. TV worked. Showers were warm with grab bar. Full bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel were available and attached to the wall in the shower, which was nice, except the conditioner bottle had shampoo in it. I just used my own conditioner. Basic room. Good price. There was no phone in the room. They did not service the room while we were there. I guess for the price, we were supposed to ask for more towels? We did not see any information in the room about wifi or how to contact the office. Extended stay is a separate building from where the office is in Best Western, a brief walk away. They offered ice water and coffee in the lobby. I guess there was an ice machine in our building, but we did not look for it. We were there in October as vendors for the Scenic Drive. We wanted to stay there for the 2nd weekend of the Scenic Drive, but the price for a room was jacked way up, evidently because of a family weekend at Knox College? Not sure. But the price difference was very notable on hotels.com for all the hotels in Galesburg. So we had to get a room in Galva, a bit of a drive from Knoxville, though it should be pretty driving through the country with the fall colors."

"A beautiful, secluded retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The scenery and wildlife were incredible. It was only a quick pass-through stay for us, but I wish it were closer so we could visit regularly. Highly recommended!"

"We were very pleased with our accommodations. It provided the space we needed and we appreciated the 2 full and 1 half baths. The property is older and well lived in. We appreciated the kitchen and dining area. We enjoyed the deck, pool, and hot tub. One of the mattresses was quite worn and uncomfortable. We didn't realize the house was on an old church property and is currently on an event property. We would have been disappointed if there was a loud active event occurring. The owners were gracious and communicated well. We would stay again."
