Charming House in Rural Suffolk
East View Lodge is a charming and peaceful cottage located at the heart of the rural Suffolk village of Cretingham. Surrounded by a private garden and looking out over undulating countryside, the lodge the perfect private couples getaway.
Long country walks with delightful country pubs or visit the market town of Framlingham, with it's famous castle five miles away. The Suffolk coast is half an hour away - Aldeburgh and Southwold. Woodbridge, Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich all within 45 minutes.
Delightful Suffolk village with traditional English pub, near to Framlingham. The property is in the centre of the village near the Cretingham Bell, a charming pub serving good food and drink. A network of footpaths provide ample walks around the River Deben and surrounding villages. Framlingham and Debenham are five miles away. The market town of Woodbridge is 10 miles and the coastal resorts of Aldeburgh and Southwold are between 30 and 45 minutes by car.
Cretingham is approximately 13 miles from the A14 taking the Needham Market junction. Easily accessible to the A14, A12, A11 and M11.
Mainline train stations at Stowmarket, Ipswich, Norwich and Cambridge, taking you to London and the wider rail network. Nearest airports - London Stansted and Norwich Port of Harwich is an hours drive for the ferry to Hook of Holland. Parties are strictly prohibited. No smoking or vaping in the house or in the grounds. No candles No BBQ No fire pits No children/ babies Two person occupancy limit - Suitable only for couples or a single person. Over 30's only. No pets.
This is your home away from home, please care for it as such. It would be appreciated if outdoor shoes are removed and not worn indoors. The bedroom has 1 King Size bed - no additional sleeping arrangements will be catered for or permitted (e.g. use of the sofa or an air mattress will not be allowed) Please make sure to lock the door and shut all the windows when leaving the property. Use the key safe at the end of your stay to deposit the keys safely back.
Please note that a fee of £100 will be charged for lost keys - please be careful with them
