"Located near to all the great things in Munich, but neighborhood feels a little “off” from the rest of Munich. It’s a boarding house and the entrance is adjacent to what seems to be a hookah bar, so there is an odd smell to everything. "We had a great stay at the Courtyard Marriott in Munich. The rooms were clean, modern, and had plenty of space for our family. The breakfast buffet was a standout, a huge variety of high-quality options that kept everyone happy. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our stay, making check-in and any requests easy. The location is excellent, just a short walk to Munich Hauptbahnhof (central station) and a little further to the Old Town. It was ideal for sightseeing and day trips like Dachau and Salzburg. As with many areas near major train stations in Western Europe, the neighbourhood has a slightly seedy feel at night, and we did see a few odd characters. That said, we always felt safe, and it didn’t detract from our experience. Overall, highly recommend this hotel for families or travellers looking for comfort, convenience, and great service in central Munich."

"I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the train station and because the NH brand is always a guarantee, and this visit to Munich was no exception. The staff, from reception to the restaurant, were always very friendly and helpful, especially now that the train station is undergoing renovations. The room was very comfortable and had modern decor and modern amenities. The breakfast buffet was one of the most enjoyable parts of the stay; it's a good option to try Bavarian dishes, in addition to the traditional items one expects at an NH hotel."

Great location, if a bit dated

"The hotel has all the amenities we were looking for and was extremely well located. The only nits were: 1) the food in room service was limited and not great; 2) the TV only had programming in German and no ability to connect to streaming services. But these items were not must have by any stretch so still very happy with our stay."

"Hotel was well positioned to the main train-station and i would say walkable into the town. It is also a bit back from the main drag so quiet enough at night. For me the check in process was very efficient and quick with the staff being friendly. Complimentry glass bottle of water for the room too, whats not to like?"
