"Sound of the river nearby and seeing deer in the yard was nice. Proximity to MD boat launch at Jennings Randolph Lake is 23 min. Booked a 2-night stay so that we could go fishing for my birthday. Don't recommend booking during a heatwave - you won't be able to sleep in the master bedroom. There is one A/C (very loud) in the kitchen and it doesn't cool the MB. I'm sure the house is fine all other times of the year, just not in the heat we've been having recently. Due to poor communication, we were not able to access the residence until 9:45pm, after arriving at 4:30. Host lost her phone and Vacasa wasn't given an alternate phone number for contact. None of the Vacasa reps was helpful in getting us the correct information we needed to access the home. After the inital 90 min upon arrival and trying to get answers from Vacasa, we went to the lake, came back at around 9:15pm and messaged the Vacasa reps again. Were planning on leaving back home (2.5 hr drive) when the host finally called at 9:30, then came out to the house at 9:45 to give further instructions on entering the house. During check-out, mouse droppings were found on the kitchen countertops during a wipe-down. Ended up throwing out our dry-goods because the droppings were also found in our basket that held the dry-goods. Wifi was decent."

"Beautiful views, including sunsets. Three floors of bedrooms with separate baths are perfect for 3 families. The upstairs bedroom is a bunk bed, a queen or king bed might be more accommodating to families. It has a large yard leading to the water which is great for kids to play on. Overall this house is great for a vacation say on the lake."

"We came to town for a lacrosse tournament and found this lovely cabin. It was perfectly situated, great size, nice deck and hot tub. Communication was easy and we were completely satisfied. We would rent this place again when coming back to the area."

"Great house, very spacious. Perfect house for our girls weekend trip. There are 2 rooms with bunk beds, and 2 rooms with king or queen beds. We only had 9 adults, but there was enough room for 12 adults total (with 2 people sharing each king bed). The kitchen was great and had everything you could need. Plenty of seating for everyone to share the same space, indoors and outdoor."

"We went to this cabin/house as a retreat just to relax and read. We got to do that! The house is as pictured but with a few cobwebs around and the windows are in desperate need of washing (so as not to obstruct the view). The big bedroom was a little cold compared to the rest of the house. The fireplace in the living room was a bonus as we like a "live" fire. Firewood was easy to obtain in the area. Overall, we my wife and I had a good, relaxing time. Would go back to this place again."
