"Excellent hotel and breakfast, we loved the room we had (splurged and did a suite both nights), but it was so worth it. Service was great and the location was really nice, close to many shops and coffee spots. "
"An overnight stay in a quiet neighborhood, close to shopping and the downtown area. Breakfast was great and the staff, particularly David was helpful. There are a number of eating options within walking distance. "
"Das guesthouse wird so liebevoll von nicoletta geführt und den Gästen wird jeder Wunsch erfüllt. Die Lage ist optimal und die Sicherheit auch fürs Auto ist gegeben. Vielen lieben Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt "
"We liked our stay here, but not too good value for money for ~160 USD per night. The secured parking inside was great and the breakfast was nice too."
"Hotel was okay, very close to the water but we preferred other hotels in the area more. Considering the cost, I did not feel the accomodation was worth it relative to other places nearby"
"Love the hotel and the city! Only complaint is all of the aggressive street peddlers that approach as soon as you step off of the property. The hotel needs to do something about this. I was interested in browsing the craft market during our 4 night stay, but the peddlers made us steer clear of the area."
"Our tour through Namibia was concluding and Stay at Swakop was where our group was also going to be ending. It was a great bed and breakfast with comfortable rooms, wifi and an excellent breakfast.
It is about a 30 minute walk into Swakopmund central or a 20 NMB taxi ride. Our lovely host also did a shuttle run into town for us.

"We had an awesome stay. Best location ever, clean, beautiful little “house”. We had our own braai. Everything that we needed was there. Opposite the Jetty and close by all the shops. We stayed 5 nights. We will come back and stay longer. The staff are so friendly!"
"We found our 1st Rm #39 to be extremely cold.
We were mived to Rm #11 & with a heater we were much more comfortable.
Staff were great!!
Had a lovely time in Swakopmund....great town!!"
"I have paid for the hostel but didn't realize that they don't have reception or anyone working after 8pm. I rang the door bell and called multiple times when I arrived but nobody answered. I couldn't check in and had to book another place last minute. I asked if I could get a credit for the night but they still charged me and wouldn't refund me for the booking and said it was my fault because I didn't notify them that I'll arrive after 8pm. I find the hostel is profit minded and doesn't have the best interest of guests in mind. "
"The hotel was spectacular. I was hesitant about the price, as we are generally low-key travelers that enjoy the basics in life. However, the food, service, and property conditions made everything easy, enjoyable, and convenient. The treat of the accommodation was worth every penny. We stayed four nights after trekking through Namibia.
Parking availability is a big factor that we chose this property, which did not disappoint. The restaurants were excellent, the breakfast provided every possible food option, and hot water was available continuously (no staggering showers for the family). Catering to comforts of an international clientele was definitely well thought out.
From our room, we could see the daily visits from dolphins in the lagoon, which was an unexpected treat! The water was freezing, but our daughter still enjoyed a wonderful day at the beach in winter! Overall, an upscale, safe, and convenient location for all of our travels in the area.
