"Upon arrival, hotel manager was able to quickly modify our reservation. Had 2 rooms for 1 night. Rooms & lobby clean & comfortable. Breakfast was good with multiple choices. Convenient location along I-35 and good price. Would stay again."

"Outside of the property very dirty. Surprisingly, even the entrance to the office glass door and surrounding glass and handle very dirty. Inside the entry way are to use machines could be cleaned. The whole area needs TLC. The one flight of stairs to the second floor all day yesterday and today at check out had what appears to be throw-up which was already spreading along the other steps. So in and out of our room we didn’t feel clean we felt yucky. I saw black spot stains on my son sheet, he managed to toss and turn and I saw the mattress cover bigger black and yellow stain. My husband after showering said he felt dirty, I smelled his towel he asked me to and it’s smelled of like old oil. Mine was ok. Luckily, we had two towels of our own. The double beds I think was not queen but full size. We managed and made it work for the few days. We had a $49 dollar and change rate since Friday. But I still expected better!"

"The property is new and bare bones. We didn’t expect much at the price point but it was still a let down, The room felt hot and moist and smelled a bit like mildew. The sheets were scratchy and the mattress was very uncomfortable. There was rarely anyone at the front desk and if they were they didn’t make eye contact or say anything. We booked two nights but left after one due to very uncomfortable nights sleep."

" Absolutely Loved Our Stay at The Cozy Corner! Such an amazing stay! The host was incredibly kind, friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Communication was excellent, and notified as soon as everything was ready! The location felt very safe and was so convenient to everything in San Marcos. The house itself was spotless and beautifully decorated with so many thoughtful touches throughout. Every.Single.Thing was not only beautifully decorated, but so much thought went into every corner of this home. It was stocked with absolutely everything you could think of - fully stocked kitchen and utensils, snacks, local coffee and products, chargers in every room, trash cans in every room and clearly labeled items that made everything easy.Some of our favorite things:• the fresh rosemary, mint, and sage outside!• The record player and record collection• The decorations were so fun & nostalgic• Beds and Pillows were so comfortable• The local coffee & products• Local products• Our fave thing was the outdoor space. The fire pit is so cool that we are ordering one for our home. The string lights were a perfect touch. We even saw deer and a fox nearby.You can tell so much care and thought went into this place. As a guest, it was the best I’ve ever seen. All hosts should take notes and strive to emulate this hosts thoughtfulness. Highly recommend The Cozy Corner - we can’t wait to stay again! 歷力"
