"The cottage was exactly as described. We really enjoyed hearing the Loons every morning. It was very quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to relax. We actually thought about adding a day to our stay but had to get back to pick up our dog. We hope to visit again in the future."

"A very sweet cabin. Not luxury. But. Has everything you may need. It is furnished like your great aunt Nana's summer cabin. Books and games are in the shelves. Kitchen is tiny and adequate for a cabin. You won't make a turkey dinner here, but it is all good. We will be back"

"We loved our stay in Castine! Ina was readily available for any questions while we were there. The gardens were beautiful, and the house was so clean. The kids loved all the kid books in the reading room, and the art throughout the house was so beautiful. Just a note that the steps up to the nice airy upstairs room/bathroom are very steep for older people or little kids, but there is a door at the bottom to latch for safety. Thank you for such a great stay!"
