"The property is in a good location with a cafe and pub restaurant within a few minutes walk. Also the train station is 5 to 10 minutes walk away. There is allocated parking outside but it was generally taken by others. I found the property a bit lacking in creature comforts. A lamp and table by the bed would be handy but there are some in the upstairs room but I used the middle floor to be near the bathroom. I only stayed two nights so it was fine for me. The actual terrace of cottage’s is a bit off putting and shabby but it was very quiet so again fine for my needs."

"Great pub with a lot of character- no food served of an evening so due to the football being shown I went for takeaway and Pat happily provided plates and cutlery Room was well worn but comfortable with all amenities I needed Cracking pint and friendly locals"
