Les gîtes de Wissembourg- Color Lodge

Located in the former mill of the Capuchin friars, adjacent to the city wall, the building was rebuilt in 1838 and completely renovated in 2016. The three mill wheels mentioned in 1775 by B. De Neuflieu are no longer present, but their locations can still be discerned on the older section of the south wall along the Lauter River. The “Colour Lodge” holiday rental is furnished with modern amenities and comfort. Its vibrant colours will brighten your stay in our beautiful town of Wissembourg. The 30-square-meter ground floor is complemented by a 14-square-meter mezzanine, all under a 4-meter-high ceiling. This open, loft-style space can accommodate up to 4 people. It features a living area and a kitchen area. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can prepare your favourite meals. The natural pine mezzanine is sure to impress with its queen-size bed—a cosy, intimate nook overlooking the living area. Beneath the mezzanine are two bunk beds and the bathroom, located in a separate, enclosed room and featuring a walk-in shower. Amenities: Kitchen: Oven, hob, fridge-freezer combo, Nespresso-style coffee maker, kettle, toaster, and all necessary dishes and kitchen utensils. Living room: Sofa, armchairs, coffee table, Wi-Fi, smart TV, Netflix, and over 400 channels via the OQEE by Free app. Sleeping area: Two 90x190 bunk beds, bookshelf, and board games. Mezzanine: one 160x200 queen-size bed, an armchair, and a chest of drawers. Supplied amenities: 2 bath towels per person, soap, shower gel, shampoo, tea towels, a sponge, and dish soap, plus various cleaning supplies. Equipment available upon request, subject to availability (shared with our other accommodation): cot, high chair, and toys; crepe maker, raclette grill, croque-monsieur maker, waffle maker, fondue set, electric grill, air fryer, wok, food processor, and vacuum cleaner. Motorcycle and Bicycle Parking: We provide a shared, weather-protected parking area. The area is secured by a video surveillance system. Only guests staying at “Les Gîtes de Wissembourg” have access to this parking area. Car Parking: Place du Tribunal, a public area regulated by a blue parking disc from Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Outside these hours, parking is free.
