"Absolutely loved the Hotel Santa Fe!! The Only suggestion would be an improvement in the food. Beautiful restaurant, incredible staff, but the food quality was not so good."
"I'll start by saying that I like this place, and have stayed here several times. The rooms are huge, the entire venue is smartly decorated, and the grounds are beautiful. There are fun and interesting events planned throughout the month, and the pool club is well maintained and equipped with a bar. However, expectations should be lowered regarding staff service and interactions (I've come to accept this, and simply adjust my expectations when staying here). There is a lot of "hipster aloof" and the so-called "Millennial stare" going on. You may find yourself standing in front of the check-in counter, the wonderful La Reina bar, or the Turquoise Trailer without being acknowledged by staff people, or perhaps waiting for the end of a cell phone conversation. There are exceptions, of course, and I've had wonderful encounters with many staff people over the years. Nonetheless, it's worth preparing for. There also seems to be a preference for local patrons in the bar. In spite of this, I recommend staying here, and will continue to stay here myself. "
"Motel has been operating since Rt 66 (anniversary next year!)was the main east west road. Rooms are spacious and comfy. Room amenities are updated. Front desk is friendly, remembered me from last visit. I'd stay again"
"Traveling with my kids is no joke. I’ve got one with severe food allergies, so we have to pack and cook all his food while traveling. The Residence Inn had everything we needed to cook for him while being less than 10 minutes away from the action. The pool and hot tub were also great to use before bed each night to get the extra energy out. We used the laundry facilities too, which were very conveniently located and made it easier for us as we moved on to our next stop. All in all, a solid choice for families traveling."
