"It was an old old adobe property, updated a bit- still old decor and old carpet (at least old looking) but it was super clean, super convenient and the people running it (front desk and cleaning) were great. It was definitely a small room, but closets and dresser to stash stuff if you wanted. I would choose this over any of the chains on S Cerrillos road. Also, this was much closer in to downtown than most of the chain motels. "

"My wife and I had a terrific long weekend staying at the inn. The room and the inn were charming, and was conveniently located within walking distance to many of the top sites in the city. We particularly enjoyed the terrific breakfast and the evening happy hour. There are very few hotels where you can get to know your fellow guests and we had some really fun conversations with them. We definitely come back again next time we are in Santa Fe."

"Everything was 10/10. Food was really tasty and vast. One day i came in 10 min before breakfast ended, almost everything was gone and they refilled almost everything just for me. Happy hour gave really good experience, bar has a good selection of everything, has a foodtruck outside of the bar. Rooms were impeccable, security guard was really engaging. And cherry on top of the cake, left my keys inside my car and staff was really engaged and helpful to get sorted out. Will definitely come back."
"I’m a repeat guest at The Sage Hotel. It’s always been very clean, nice bed/shwr/microw/fridge, staff are courteous, breakfast better than most similarly priced hotels. Has a sm restaurant & nice bar, w/ wkend music (ends early/nvr a noise prob 4 me). Pool is sm, kept clean, ice avail. All types stay; intrnl visitors, local road work crews, artists/explorers, & reg biz people. I prefer an upper rm, near rear for ultimate quiet. Luxurious? Not the spot. Outstanding value, w/ nice staff, ez to get to wherever; a winner/value imo. "
"Love it when an old motel is updated while keeping some of the unique original features. The bathroom update was very well done. Comfy bed. Lots of space. Parking in the shared alcoves is difficult with a large vehicle if someone else is parked, but parking in front of your unit is an option. The original wood doors were awesome. The area around the hotel is a bit rough looking, but we didn’t feel unsafe. Street noise lessened as the night went on. "
