"The hotel is well built, very quiet considering proximity to the busy road. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was good. Nice area in Ballantyne and the gym was easily accessible. Shower head with good water pressure (a sticking point with me) and bathroom spacious. I would like to have a hot tub, otherwise, nothing missing for me."

"My dad and I had such a great stay back in October, we decided to return again last month, this time for a Charlotte Hornets game. Staying here allows us to be close to Uptown, without paying premium, Center City prices. The rooms were even better this time, with beds super comfy as always. Very quiet in this hotel, which is a massive plus. Water pressure and shower amenities are a plus, too. Bacon at breakfast was a much-welcomed surprise! Next time I'm back in Charlotte, Comfort Inn Matthews is the first place I'll look."

"First of all I had to pay 20$ to get in one hour early. Never had to do that. The girl was rude. Also our room smelled like fish. We bought 2 bottles of febreese that did t even help. Is there any compensation for these issues?? Please let me know. Thanks Expedia. "
