Beach Vacation - Private Balcony - Water Views

"We were in town from Michigan for the weekend to attend a wedding in Lincolnville and couldn’t be more delighted with this place. The unit checked every box for us - clean, spacious and well equipped for pretty much anything you would need. Lincolnville is tiny and quiet, but an excellent central location to explore the area. Travel tip…Dot’s Market .2 miles away was a godsend and Green Tree Coffee and Tea across from there was top notch."

"We were only there for one night, but the cabin we had wa was clean, large and well appointed. The staff were helpful--they prepared a gluten free breakfast for my wife and recommended a good restaurant for dinner. A pretty view from our front window of the ocean helped make it a good stay"

"The Lodge is a lovely property set on a hill in a residential condo community. There is a tennis court, and a pool. The pool had an algal bloom, while we were there, of which we were not advised, Otherwise, the communication with the owner was prompt and accurate. There were lots of toys, puzzles, games, and books. The wrap around porch was wonderful. Everyone had their own private bed/bath suite, which was fabulous. The kitchen is large with 2 dishwashers, and an extra large refrigerator. Lots of dishes, and silverware. Some of the kitchen pots and pans need to be replaced, but we were still able to cook many meals. There were many leftover condiments and other items from past guests. It would have been nice if they were labeled for freshness purposes; still appreciated.The trails at the property were not maintained, so we did most of our hiking at Camden Hills State Park. There is a lovely lake nearby for swimming or boating( canoes, kayaks).Took the ferry to Isleboro, and visited many small towns in area; Belfast, Rockland, Rockport, Camden, Fernalds Nature Preserve in worth a trip. It was great to be in a rural part of Maine. Lots to see and do, it just hang out.There were plenty of beach towels in the laundry room. Could have used extra towels, and toilet paper in the otherwise nicely appointed bedrooms. Room refrigerators were a nice touch. I made several suggestions to the owner to make this place a five star property. I recommend this property for large groups."
