The Country Inn at Camden Rockport
10/10 Excellent
"The Country Inn was extremely nice. It looked brand new, or at least newly refurbished. We stayed in out own 12'x25'ish suite. It has a medium sized fridge, coffee maker and 2 burner flat top stove. The bathroom was very clean. They have a path to the main building with an gas firepit and Adirondack chairs. It looks they they are adding some ambient lighting by the pit too...as of 08/05/26. We took a plunge in the pool and hot tub. This are was very clean, and as I mentioned, this was probably brand new."

"Whitehall is a lovely, elegant historic inn located within walking distance to Camden harbor. The grounds and common spaces are vast and well-maintained. The staff is friendly, Our room was small but clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing--the food didn't seem particularly fresh. But that is my only criticism. Otherwise it is an excellent place to stay."

"This is an amazing location. One of the most beautiful lakes in Maine and close to gorgeous hikes and Camden. It is on a protected cove so almost no wind, easy paddling and perfect swimming. We had a wonderful time."

"This is such a great property, and Katherine was responsive and great. The house was clean and equipped with all of the essentials. The pull out bed was a smaller size than we expected, but even still the beds were all very comfortable. Our whole group noted that the kitchen equipment, appliances and grill were far better quality than most rentals we have stayed in. Would return again or recommend to friends!"

"Wonderful walkable location right downtown. We had a riverfront room and loved opening our windows at night to listen to the water running under our room. Nice sized comfortable room with a very friendly staff."

"We had a great week on the lake! The house was very clean when we arrived and we communicated with Jennifer on a few items during the week and she was very helpful and accommodating. It is a true “Maine camp” with the charm of simpler times that was built by generations of one family and it was a great place for our young family to make memories on our favorite lake. We enjoyed coffee on the porch as the sun came over Mt. Megunticook/Maiden cliff and shared dinners around the large dining table or hanging out in the living room. Our days were filled with boating, tubing, swimming, fishing and canoeing. The dock was a great place to tie up our boat for the week and jump off to swim! No weeds, deep water! The house is close to Camden which made little outings or grocery runs convienent too!"

"Loved our time at Maison du Lac. The house was a charming lake escape and very comfortable. Swimming off the dock in the afternoons was a true delight. And close enough to town that we could take advantage of all that offered. A perfect place for a family getaway."

"We so enjoyed our stay at Sunrise on the Megunticook! The home is beautifully airy and open, with plenty of space for our family - toys and all! We especially loved sitting out on the deck in the evening, looking out on the lake. A fun bonus was the telescope! Perfect for scoping out stars. Everything down to the linens and paint on the walls felt fresh and new. A short drive from Camden, we would definitely stay again!"
