Had a little 2 night break with the dog , overall stay was quite pleasing , the hosts were super friendly , breakfast was good , hot breakfast went down well .. just a little attention to detail regarding the room itself , just a couple of things that could of been cleaned .i.e the fan , mirrors and toilet brush but overall quite pleasant and relaxed stay …

Great stay lovely hotel, with friendly staff and a lovely breakfast. Even gave the Dog a sausage at breakfast which he loved 😍

Good Location
Windermere Park is in a good location not far from the centre of Windermere village. A good position for using to explore the area and not too far from Bowness to walk.

The property is undergoing building work and is covered in scaffolding. The Velox windows in the loft are difficult to open and close if you are not tall. The staff were very helpful

Great place. The staff work so hard. Newly decorated and in great condition. Perfect location 2 min walk into town. Ill be staying here again my loft family room was huge.

Windermere Holiday Stay
Had a great week in the lakes visiting attractions the the local area. Hotel was lovely and the staff were friendly and looked after us well. Breakfast was also very nice with a range of options. Beds were also very comfy!

Poor 4 star hotel
Disappointed that Hotels.com rate the hotel as 4 star compared to so many others we have used through your website. Why disappointed bathroom had no shelf in shower for toiletries no spindle to hold toilet roll. No chain on sink had to fight out of hole. Sink was so low and glass shelf above meant you either bang your head when washing or cleaning teeth or drop water from such a height you cover your shirt in water! No toothbrush or toothpaste holder meaning all balanced around taps. 3 out of the 8 lights on mirror only worked. We stayrd 3 nights day one when we returned room had not been made on day two put make up room sign on door returned in the evening again room not made up. Had to request clean towels and additional toilet roll. Manager on desk did not offer to bring to room and take away dirty towels just handed fresh to me to take to room. We were in room 11 first day two cleaning Evans liquids were left outside our door all janatorial cleaning solutions should be locked away ie out of reach of children and pets. Breakfast was nice service differed from the 3 mornings. Day one ran out of glassware to have a drink bit that did not matter as water and orange juice jugs were empty for the 25 mins in dining room. Toaster nearly set on fire when a guest got tired of waiting for it to drop out of machine but left toaster on burning the toast no staff in room for 5 mins to even know what had happened. Day 2 saw an improvement quite a nice guy. Day 3 very good service by t

Good location only couple minutes from Windermere and 20 min walk to bowness. Rooms clean but a little tired in places. Staff very friendly and ample parking spaces at back of hotel. Freshly cooked breakfast was delicious although one morning constantly ran out of coffee, juices, bread.

My family and I recently stayed here, overall experience was great, I stayed on the top floor which had plenty of space, room was very clean and tidy and breakfast was standard. Plenty of parking space and a close walk to town. One particular staff stood out but forgot his name “he recently moved from Birmingham and was working in another bigger hotel before moving to Windermere” best description I can remember. As it states it’s a B&B but I’ll stay here again.

Great location. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful but its definitely understaffed. Had no idea about the off-site health facilities until after checking out. Breakfast was very good. Room size was great. The bathroom was small, it would have been worth sacrificing bedroom space for a larger bathroom. Adequate parking.

Good place to stay but could be better.
Very nice room with comfortable beds , kettle, toiletries and biscuits. Communication at the hotel could be improved. Contacted via hotel .com twice but received no answer to query. Had to ring to get clarification on check in as says closes at 18:00. Not an issue in end but some response would have been appreciated.. They allowed dogs in the dining room which on this occasion they were fairly well behaved, but not what to be expected. Overall thought it was a good place to stay with a great location and would stay again at the right price.

Reasonable option near city centre
Great location within short walking distance of city centre. Hosts were great and very accommodating. Good mix of breakfast options. Room was nice, clean and had good bath facilities. Exterior could use some maintenance to improve appeal.

Lonely staff, hotel needs a refurb.
Hotel is clean and staff were brilliant, the hotel itself is well past its best and is in need of a major update, the room was very basic at best. It reminded me of 1980s student accommodation, I think thats last time the carpets and furniture were changed.

Wonderful Windermere park

Unfortunately this hotel is nothing like the description on your site ! The curtains are so thin as soon as the sun rose the room lite up , the hot water tap was broken as was the lock on the door! The whole hotel is dated and I have no clue where they got the photo on your site it’s very misleading. The breakfast was good

The building is a little tired and old, but think price reflects that and we were happy. Kept lovely and clean, the couple running it were very friendly and welcoming. Excellent location, great to be able to walk to the shops, bars and restaurants.

Great place to stay
Lovely guesthouse not far from town, and about a 15-20min walk down to the lake. Jeannette was lovely. One small thing was the windows wouldn’t open, so the room did get warm!
