Windermere tour
The bathrooms were clean and the beds were good. When we went there garbage was dumped at back deck. We informed the property owner and sent a photo but the place was sort of cleaned next day only and the owner never responded. One bathroom was attached so it was not possible to freely shared. The neighborhood was not tidy. Neighbors dogs were roaming in front of our door and scared us. This is ok house but overpriced.

Family Vacation
This house is an excellent family vacation home. Our family of 7 had lots of room to spread out. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. Beds were comfortable and the entire unit was nice and clean. Our host was quick to reply to requests and made an extra effort to get a trades person out quickly on the long weekend to fix a problem. We would stay here again. The location is a great destination anytime of the year with easy access to the hot springs and ski hills. In the winter there are excellent cross country and skating trails maintained on the lake.

Christmas family gathering
We had 7 adults and one infant and had plenty of space to enjoy our stay in comfort. The kitchen had a good selection of cooking and serving supplies, and we were able to have a nice Christmas dinner around the large table. There is a new oven which worked very well for all the stovetop and oven dishes we enjoyed. The beds were comfortable, maybe a bit softer than we are used to but we all slept well. Bathrooms were clean and well supplied with towels. One suggestion would be to add some extra towel hooks in the main floor bath. We appreciated the availability of laundry. The basement was spacious and we enjoyed the fooseball table. We had plenty of room to enjoy Christmas morning gift opening. It’s a quick walk to the lake to enjoy skating, and there are other activities nearby such as skiing at Panorama, hot springs, hiking and just the beautiful mountain views to enjoy. We had a great stay and would be happy to return for another visit.

Great Place to Stay
We really enjoyed our time at this vacation rental. The beds were awesome…lovely modern home…awesome showers! Only downside was that the dishwasher and the stove oven weren’t working. Thankfully the neighbour cooked our turkey for us for Thanksgiving dinner. So all was well!!

Lovely Windermere Getaway
Our family had a lovely time in Windermere. The place is great with lots of room for all of us (and the dogs!) and the owner was accommodating and very responsive. Highly recommend!

Family friendly, spacious cabin in Windermere
We stay in Windermere area every summer, and enjoy being able to walk to the lake. From this cabin, Windermere Public Beach is 10 min walk and the small store (5 min walk) has ice, liquor and a few basic items. Easy access to Invermere by car, if you need more supplies or groceries. Cabin was spacious on 3 levels. We were 5 adults and lots of room. Kitchen has all the essentials to make meals, extra bowls, platters, etc. Coffee maker could use an upgrade, I would bring a coffee press next time. Big dining table if required. Outdoor deck was roomy, in the sun most of the day so it was hot, but evening was shady. There were 2 portable AC units, which was a necessity as temps were +30’s. Kept the cabin a reasonable temperature. An ensuite in the upstairs bedroom, plus a separate laundry room. 1 main floor bedroom, main floor bathroom. Both bathrooms had big showers, no tub. The basement was very big, with foosball table and couches, plus 2 bedrooms. Parking for 3 vehicles was a bonus. Communication with owner was easy and prompt. I would stay here again.

Summer
This was our second visit to Lake Windermere and this cabin. A great week with hot weather, great accomodation and the lake a short distance away. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we could need. Nancy was excellent and helped us out on a couple very minor issues. Highly recommend.

Uhmmmm
We stayed at this property for 3 nights during our annual Christmas break . Upon arrival we immediately noticed the dust, insects, and AC units that was still connected to the windows. The snow wasn't shovel which made carrying stuff in very difficult. There were no garbage or recycle bags available. The sheets had previous stains on it. We messaged the owner and she responded very quickly but unfortunately without any action at ALL. Especially the owner’s parents were next door. We were quit disappointed that we expressed our concern but no correction were made other than a sorry. The place is quite convenient for some family fun. Close to the lake and a grocery store. A 10 min drive to Invermere or fairmount hot spring pool. Media setup could do an upgrade as well as a carpet clean. Otherwise we still made out to have a good Christmas break ourselve. One last thing. Do not touch the foosball table. It’s a trap lol.

In midnight, We were running out of toilet paper. Cos of time we couldn't reach the owner. There were some towel on second floor which was dirty and not washed. The bed sheet on main floor and the second floor was not washed. The Air fresh in toilet was empty. Overall, i think the owner didnt check the entire facility to make sure it is ready for us.

My family went to visit the Kootenays for our early Christmas in September. I honestly can’t say enough about how perfect this place was for us. Amazing location and house
This house was perfect for the group of us. The youth could walk to the beach as we adults sat on the wonderful deck if we wanted. There was lots of room for everyone in the house and it was well stocked. We would certainly stay again!

Five years!

Wonderful Windermere Stay
The property was for perfect for us. Three levels made it roomy for our group of five women and one large dog. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, even an electric rice cooker! Great location, so close to the lake. We would definitely stay here again!

Family Long Weekend Stay
Our stay At the property was excellent! The cabin was exactly as advertised. The cabin was spacious, and kitchen had all the amenities we needed. It was a bonus to have separate bedrooms for all three adult couples giving everyone their own space. We enjoyed the sitting on the big Deck to enjoy the Sunshine. Short drive to enjoy the local activities and Radium Hot Springs. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Nice getaway!
The house was perfect for 2 families of 4 and a dog. We enjoyed our time in this home. Challenging to sit at the table, bar stools would’ve for everyone for supper. Porch was nice to hang out on but stick to the iron furniture. No fence for those that have a dog. Overall great place, good location.

Fantastic stay!
My friends and I stayed in this cabin in Windermere for 3 nights and it had everything we needed. It had a great layout, easily accommodated everyone, and had everything you needed in the kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms. I would definitely stay here again!

Needs a little TLC
Nice property with lots of room, but probably overpriced considering condition. Seriously needs some maintenance. Had to scrape ice out of the freezer to get the (older) fridge going on arrival, and had to repair the front-door handle after it fell off. Barbecue and deck furniture are old and need replacing. No back yard, and the front yard and deck are open to the neighbouring property, so not a lot of privacy (neighbours are nice, but they have several dogs who like to visit). Location is very handy for all amenities and beaches.

Long Weekend Getaway
My family stayed at the property and it was perfect for 5 adults, 2 children and a dog. The basement was a great place for children that wake up early and want to have a living space to play. There is no bathroom in the basement. The yard is not fenced but was a great space for the kids to run and play. There is a playground half a block away. The public beach is about 7-10minute walk, downhill there and uphill back. The beach is really clean, grass and rocks, with a sand based playground. A short drive up to the highway there is a market, pizza place, mini golf and go carts. Ice cream at both places. You could walk if you’d like. There is a corner store a block away from the property that is very handy and a pizza place a block and a half away. All in all, a clean place to stay and enjoy your weekend! We rarely got in our car because there is enough to do within walking distance with kids.

This is our third time staying here and it is great. Temperature wasn’t quite as hot as last year which was good. The owner is awesome to deal with and responds quickly if you have any questions. No AC though which would be great to have for the summer!!!

We enjoyed our stay here for an extended weekend. The house was clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed (except beach towels & chairs, but we brought our own!). The dishwasher did not work, but I reported that to the owner who responded quickly.
