"A really lovely couple of nights at Holly Lodge. The hospitality shown from Kirsty and Barbara was 1st class and couldn’t have wished for a more welcoming and homely stay. The lounge is a beautiful and relaxing area to sit and have a drink and take in the wonderful Xmas tree . Really enjoyed the couple of visits to the health club using both the gym and the Spa which was a wonderful perk. You really can’t beat the location of Holly Lodge, literally a 90 second walk cutting through the Sainsbury’s local car park will get you onto the wonderful little high street with fantastic local shops and fantastic restaurants and cafes. I would have no hesitation in recommending Holly Lodge for a break in the Lake District. Many thanks to all the staff. "

"Lovely stay. Great room, very nice breakfast and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. The christmas decorations made the whole stay feel very festive. The kids loved everything about it. The spa swimming pool was a little on the cold side but ok. "
