"Nice clean room. Some remodeling has been done. Room door missing auto closing hinge. Bathroom flooring Extremely dangerous when wet. I almost fell if I hadn't grabbed the towel rack stepping out of shower. Somebody is going to fall."

"Great place to stay for our visit to SD. Good location, comfortable accomodations, great hosts, clean and with everything we need. It is a small place but for the 2 of us it was big enough. Shower is tiny but we made it work. We didn't do much cooking so if you are planning on that then there are ample cooking items but bring everything else you need. Farm fresh eggs were awesome to have. Friendly cat and bunny greet you each day. Beautiful view but was quite windy, not sure if it is like that all the time but that felt common to SD across the board."

"The room was clean, and the manager was very helpful. Those are the positives. The breakfast lacked any protein, I had to call the manager to come to the front desk each time i needed to talk to someone, The AC was noisy and fixtures in the room old (corroded). AND the shower was out of hot water. The hotel has just been bought, and they are trying.. But they are not yet hitting the mark!"

"Despite nearby construction, my room was comfortable, quiet and well equipped. I was only there overnight but check in was quick, efficient and friendly and the cafe food was delicious and with the added bonus of a 15% discount since I was staying over. Walking distance to everything I wanted to see in town and to the Hot Springs (I went to Moccasin Springs) for which the town is aptly named and justly famous. Highly recommended!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brett's cabin and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The cabin had plenty of space for our family, both inside and out. One of our favorite parts of each day was coming back in the evening to relax on the deck, enjoy the fire table, and watch the kids run and play in the large outdoor space.The property offers plenty of open space, which made it a great place to relax, enjoy the scenery, and watch for wildlife. It was the perfect home base for our Black Hills adventures.Brett was an outstanding host. Before and during our stay, he was incredibly helpful with recommendations, especially when it came to local fishing spots and techniques. His advice helped make some great memories for our family. He also checked in throughout our trip to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and to offer suggestions for things to do in the area. His hospitality and local knowledge really enhanced our experience.We had a fantastic stay and made many wonderful family memories here. We plan to return to the area in the future and will definitely be booking with Brett again."
