"Best hotel we've ever had for the price. Wonderful large room, attractive decor, comfy bed, fantastic large shower room with hot radiator and drying rack. Personally shown how everything worked by reception guy - it makes such a difference to be given personal demonstration of how everything works - show, don't just tell, or leave you to flounder working it out for yourself. Class actually from all the staff. Great value breakfast for €10 served by super friendly, kindly lady who explained everything to us, and brought us delicious coffee. Motel was on a road intersection a short walk from Bastogne centre, and had everything a traveller might need, all in one place, including best ever room, great value breakfast, one stop shop, and petrol station -and delightful staff, all on the one site. Seems a bit bizarre at first, but try it, you'll love it, thoroughly recommended. We keep comparing every other stopover to Merceny at Bastogne, and they all come up short in one way or another."
