"The basic suite was very spacious. And comes with a Comfortable king size bed with nice linens. The walk in closet was roomy. The room was quiet and faced a small park. The valet parking was handy in the city center. We enjoyed the pub at the hotel. Convenient to the activities in the city center"

"Rooms are smaller than a newer hotel but not SMALL imho. The bathroom is a little small but again, the building was built in the 20’s? In any case, building has been updated beautifully. Room had character that could only be found in an historic building. Front desk staff was the nicest I had encountered anywhere!! Bed was comfortable and the linens were clean and crisp. I loved the water bottles and filling station in the hall and the free coffee in the modern designed lobby. Optimally located and very close to dining options. I would definitely return for this “boutique” type of experience. Free WiFi was a nice bonus too."

"Clean rooms but we had the people in the room next to us shouting at each other for a long time around 2am until I assume the police showed up? I didn’t want to open the door to check because it sounded like they were getting violent at one point so it didn’t feel safe"

"The hotel is in a great central location. It is directly across the street from the Reading Market, which is a delightful place to visit. From desk staff to restaurant staff, housekeeping, and even the Uber drivers everyone was incredibly pleasant and helpful. Our room was large and the bathroom had adequate counter space for toiletries. Beds were quite comfortable and the duvet covering felt luxurious to lie under. A lovely place to stay."
