Top Wilmington Hotel Reviews
Woodspring Suites Wilmington Riverfront
8/10 Good
"My wife and I spent one night at this hotel, as part of a leisure trip. We found the hotel to be very clean. There was a functional kitchen area in our room. There was ample parking, and someone walked the lot at night for security purposes. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. This hotel is a seven minute drive from the Wilmington Amtrak station. We will stay here again when we are in that area. The general area, in which the hotel is located, is in the process of being redeveloped and gentrified. The hotel does not offer breakfast, but morning coffee is available and free in the lobby. We did not see any nearby place to buy breakfast. I would suggest that the hotel offer danish, juice, donuts, yogurt, fruit, and oatmeal/cereal &milk be made available, if guests desire, for a small add'l upcharge. This would help families with kids, and adult guests in a hurry."

"Nice quaint hotel in convenient location in Old City. Nice Happy Hour ! Restaurant we got 25% off food which helped. Large wine bar but very pricey. Large King Loft, quiet. No fridge , or coffee in room. Coffee was awful downstairs. Pleasant staff."

"Perfect location and a staff that was dedicated to making sure all my questions were answered. They had a very nice breakfast buffet and even a happy hour some afternoons. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it."

Doubletree by Hilton Philadelphia Airport

"The staff in the bar/grill unable to figure out a straight splitting of tab. Disappointed this was only option as our impression was there was a restaurant on site. Breakfast buffet eggs cold as well as grits. Suggest individual purchase of items as well as specialized coffee in designated lobby area"

"Very impressed by this hotel and wish I had been able to stay longer. The room was clean and tidy - very efficiently laid out. I had a good city view, comfy bed, large tv, and mini fridge. Parking situation isn’t great - they sent me two messages telling me they had a discounted rate at the garage across the street. One said it was $50 and the other said it was $55. There was no discount - the garage attendant specifically said there was no discount. And it was $55. Please don’t lie to your guests. Just say parking is across the street."
