"My booking was confirmed and the host contacted me later the next day to tell me they were overbooked. They said they had been booked for my stay for over 2 months. Property was on several sites. How they did not know this for 2 months is beyond my comprehension. They apologized and basically told me it was my problem to deal with and also told me to cancel. "This was a great stay in Stanthorpe. Located nice and close to the town with a lovely walk along the river. It was also walking distance to Varias winery where we enjoyed a lovely lunch and some nice wines.The cottage itself was very well equipped and very clean and tidy and the spa on the balcony was just heaven. There were lots of over and above extras that all worked well and made it very homely.Overall I would highly recommend this stay and would visit again upon a return to Stanthorpe. "
