About this property
Historic Farm House on 400 Acre Cattle Farm near Clemson, SC
I invite you to explore our renovated 140 year old home that was built by my ancestors qualifying it as a Century Farm designation in South Carolina . Located only 1.2 miles from I-85/Hwy. 81 interchange, we are only 17 miles from Clemson, 21 miles from Downtown Greenville, and 8 miles from the city of Anderson. Situated on an active beef cattle operation, it is not uncommon to view grazing cattle in all directions surrounding the 2 acre landscaped yard. Whether its enjoying your favorite beverage on the front porch, playing horseshoes/corn hole under the ancient oak trees, or taking a relaxing walk down our family-named country road, you will find our property to be a relaxing escape from a busy world.

Everything was wonderful: the location, the check-in, the amenities, everything! We loved being able to celebrate our daughter's graduation from Anderson University and then "come home" to the farmhouse and just relax and have fun with family. It was absolutely a wonderful stay.
This was such a unique and beautiful property. Everything was perfectly comfortable for the whole family including the dogs. We really enjoyed our stay, especially the time spent on the big porch watching the cows!
Our bass fishing team loved this home. The layout was spacious and comfortable and had plenty of boat parking. The boys felt right at home. The location was secluded, but very close to town. We will definitely stay at this wonderful farmhouse again. Looking forward to our next trip.
The house was perfect for our family. We were in town for a wedding and took time for a family weekend. The house was lovely and perfect for our extended family. The grandkids enjoyed watching the cows and playing the vintage board games. This house will be our first choice when we come back to visit our neice and her new husband
This is an older home that has been updated with modern conveniences without losing the charm of a house built more than a hundred years ago. The house is in a great location in the middle of a working farm, but only 10 minutes from downtown Anderson and 25 minutes from down town Greenville and Clemson. A very relaxing and convenient place to stay.
We had a group of 10 that stayed at this location for a fishing tournament. There was plenty of space for everyone! The front porch was a great spot to sit and watch the sun set. Plenty of parking for trucks & boats. The host was great to communicate with and very timely to respond to any questions.
My family and I had a great time at the farm house. Very peaceful. It was great to wake up and seeing the cattle drink right outside our window. The home was spacious & the dining room had plenty of space for all of us to eat together. The owner was very attentive. Grateful and blessed for the memories.
We had a lovely weekend at the farmhouse. Our son was in the Belton tennis tournament and we decided to make a long family weekend out of it and the farm was perfect. His matches ended up being on the Clemson campus and it was usually around 25-30 minutes to get there. We loved grilling out, reading and playing games on the porch, watching the cows come in and attempting to play horseshoes. Everything we hoped it would be!
Such a great property! We so enjoyed our stay from Ohio to visit our family close by. Wish we knew this place was available sooner we would’ve stayed here the other 3 times we visited this year, but we will be back!
William was the perfect host and the farmhouse that he grew up in was everything we expected and more. He even let us try some of his beef from his cattle farm and it was outstanding. We will be staying here again as a family.
What a wonderful house … we rented for the Christmas week and it was perfect for our family. Communication was great, all was perfect as described in the listing and such a warms and cozy environment. Lots of room for family fun or retreat to another room for games or conversation. Thank you!
So sweet, the farmhouse, our time with family. William was great and helped us get back in after locking ourselves out. Granddaughters loved the cows and running around outside and watching tv. Kitchen worked out well. Cooked 2 family meals in it for 25 and 22. They did not stay with us but my daughter’s family did.
This charming farmhouse filled with just the right combination of modern convenience & rustic charm was the perfect place for our family to enjoy our daughter's Clemson graduation. There was plenty of room to cook, dine, & gather with our extended family 'inside & out'. The spacious yard, porch, & newly constructed deck were perfect for backyard 'grilling & chilling' with "live entertainment" provided by the cows, squirrels, birds, etc. This was such a peaceful, relaxing getaway from the 'hustle & bustle', but close enough to all of the graduation week events. This felt like being 'at home' away from home! Thank you for sharing your 'family home' with us.
We loved our stay in this quiet, relaxing setting for the 2nd time this fall! The farmhouse was very spacious for our family of 8, with plenty of room to play outside with 2 toddlers. Bonus to roam the property & see their cows in nearby pastures. The kitchen & house are well-equipped for our weekend stay, with thoughtful amenities provided. We were happy to have a grill added since our last stay. Great "home away from home" and very accommodating hosts!
This charming old farmhouse, full of family furnishings, glistening wood floors, and great family spaces inside and out made the perfect weekend getaway for our group. Three couples and a high school senior looking at Clemson enjoyed the gracious hospitality of the owner. William was super-responsive when we had questions. The herd of cattle were delightful neighbors and we enjoyed long dog walks in the local area. All in all, this was the perfect place for us to reunite family, tour Clemson, and tailgate at Death Valley. Go Tigers!
Beautiful and relaxing home in the country. This weekend away was just what we needed. The beds were comfortable and everything worked well! No complaints from anyone!
Our family enjoyed a comfortable stay in this spacious & well-equipped home. Plenty of space for 6 adults & 2 toddlers. Great yard for children and fun to watch the cows grazing closeby! We enjoyed cooking meals & being together under 1 roof! Many special touches like fresh flowers in the kitchen, hand soaps, tissue, & a lot provided that we did not expect! Most enjoyable weekend & we look forward to returning soon!
The Wilson's provide a wonderful place to stay in the middle of farm land but close to everything you need. William was responsive to any questions and gave us a lesson on cattle!
Book with the Wilson's!
This was the perfect place for our family as we celebrated graduation. We had plenty of room for everyone. We were able to cook several meals and eat in the large dining room. We also enjoyed sitting outside and playing corn hole. My granddaughter loved the cows and horses. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
