The hotel lacks curb appeal and is due a makeover, the room we had on the 3rd floor ( No lift) was very dated ,with cracked cistern, peeling plaster and an electric shower that was so old it had stopped working. The rooms are a little overpriced ,in my opinion, starting at £90 per night and would be inaccessible to those with walking difficulties. But on the plus side , the staff are very friendly , the food is good and the bed was comfortable.
