Hotel Das Kronprinz

10/10 Excellent

"Das Kronprinz was everything we would want from a hotel and sensibly priced. Their breakfast, also reasonably priced, offered a very wide selection. The room was spacious and well furnished and had tea/coffee making facilities. Das Kronprinz is opposite the bus station and only a few minutes from the train station. A 4-minute train ride south takes you to the end of the Bonn tramway system. Cologne central station is about 20 minutes to the north and the airport is only a couple of stops away from Troisdorf. Troisdorf is a pleasant town with a selection of pubs, takeaways and restaurants."

"This place sucks. I wouldn’t even stay here if you paid me. The cleanliness of the rooms were not too great. I found hair in the sheets. The service was pretty terrible. I paid extra for a room with extra beds. But since I didn’t specify how many adults were staying they gave me a smaller room! I paid extra for a larger room. I asked the receptionist for extra sheets and I had to ask 3 times over the span for 6 hrs until he brought up sheets to my room."
