"Exceptionally clean room, comfy beds, great choice at breakfast, good food and all staff helpful except the staff member helping with breakfast on Friday morning on the 25th September. I understand my grandson and l didn’t get down for breakfast till 8.45 and they finish serving at 9. However, the staff member kept giving us warning times, we could have been allowed 5 minutes to finish but we got a 4 minute warning, literally, and she made us feel very uncomfortable and was obviously saying it for our benefit. Otherwise a great stay and the reason we have given 4 stars, otherwise it would have been 5 stars. Thanks to everyone else who was lovely and very helpful. Diane and Paul."

"Comfortable rooms with good coffee, Yorkshire tea, and great biscuits renewed every day. Excellent "bathroom" with spacious, easy to adjust shower and large heated towel rail, plus great complimentary toiletries, and lots of shelf space for our personal toiletries. One tiny grumble - the small bathroom fan in my room, switched with the bathroom light, was strangely noisy! Very kind and helpful staff. Superb cooked-to-order breakfasts, plus cereals, yogurt, breads, etc. (but no fruit). The unusual feature where, if we get takeaway dinners (plenty of choices a mile away in Pock, including Stuarts fish and chips, many which can be delivered), they provide the table, cutlery and crockery, then serve any drinks you need, is brilliant!"
