About this property
Parker's Creek; Brand new Log Cabin with Mountain views on 7 acres!
Our BRAND NEW log cabin is nestled in between 3 beautiful mountain towns only approximately 10 minutes away (Sylva, Bryson City, and Cherokee). You will enjoy peace and quiet among the secluded 7 acres of land that sit at the top the valley with beautiful views from the expansive covered porch of the Smoky Mountains. Sip coffee on the porch and enjoy the mountain air. Take a stroll past the turn of the century red barns where our neighbor has 2 beautiful white horses. On your way you'll pass a small artisanal well that bubbles up from the top of our property and runs under our road that eventually feeds the Tuckaseegee River. Soak away your worries in our brand new large hot tub or roast marshmallows in our outdoor fire pit (all overlooking the view). Cozy up inside with satellite TV on our leather furniture or read a book by the gas log fireplace. Prepare your favorite meal in our full size kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. We also have other items like a cooler to use while in the area should you not have been able to bring one.
Have children? So do we! We've tried to make it easy for families of infants to pre-teens to have a great stress free time with other amenities we've provided to make your trip to the mountains a true getaway. With kids toys, games, movies, step stools, kid friendly toilet seats, training potty, outdoor toys/games, pack-n-play and more.
Head out into either of 3 close by mountain towns for shopping, dining, groceries, breweries, the beautiful Harrah's Cherokee Casino, live shows, or take a ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. If you want to escape city life, take a hike or bike on any of the dozens of trails located within a short drive to view the scenery or take in one of the many waterfalls. The area boasts some great places to play in one of the many rivers, go tubing, white water rafting, fly fishing, or nearly any outdoor activity your heart could desire.

We went on our end of year trip with our 3 young girls to this beautiful cabin. The cabin is better in person than the pics, which is extremely rare to find. It had every single amenity you could think of. The beds were very comfortable. The details for the children were truly appreciated. My girls spent the majority of their time playing with the toys, games, or drawing. The cabin had great wifi with no issues staying connected. We used the exterior fire pit almost every night and made s'mores. I will comment that the road to get to the cabin is pretty rural, but on the way up you get to see all sorts of horses and other animals which make this part into a little adventure.
Very kid friendly. Amazing views. Driveway is a little narrow and very steep as expected for a house at the top of a mountain. :) will be back for sure.
We loved staying at this cabin! It is very clean and has a great view. It looks as beautiful in person as it does in the pictures! The owner is very friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to go back!
Stayed here for a short getaway with two of my friends. This is quite possibly the most well-appointed rental I’ve ever stayed at. The attention to detail is astounding. Everything was clean, the view was amazing, and the hot tub relaxing. The owners were attentive and easy to reach.
The nearby towns are easily accessible. The only downside being that you can sometimes hear traffic from the highway, but that’s the price for proximity to stores, restaurants, and the casino. Still quite a remote feeling though which is exactly what I was looking for.
The driveway is steep at the very end but my friends both had 2WD vehicles that got to the top just fine.
I’ll definitely be back with the wife and kids!
We had an amazing vacation at this property for a much needed get away. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous and is very well appointed, located at the top of the ridge, and is very private. It was immaculately clean and surpassed even my standards, which are pretty high! The hot tub, overlooking the beautiful mountain view was spectacular and was an excellent end to a day of hiking. The owners were very communicative and provided us with all of the information we needed for our stay. We cannot reccommend this property more!
Simply put, this property enabled our family to have the time of our lives. No stone was left unturned with the attention to detail of this property which allowed us to focus on family fun and good times. The location is secluded but close enough to restaurants /shopping/casino/smokies that we still plenty to do. We felt like we had a little mountain to ourselves. We visited the Biltmore Estate/Dollywood/Gatlinburg/Cherokee Casino/Dillsboro/Smokey Mountain Railway and still found time for some hiking around the property and relaxing in the hot tub. John and Tami were essentially our travel guides and recommended things to do, especially the Dillsboro Brewery and restaurants that we loved. We always herd back from them the same day when we had an inquiry. We have a family of 5 and had no trouble with space. Would recommend this property to anyone and will most certainly be returning this Summer and beyond.
We hit the jackpot with this cabin!! I truly don't have a negative thing to say about it. Our family of 4 stayed here for the weekend (our kids are 1 and 4) and had a wonderful time. The cabin is a true log cabin, but it is brand new and has all the modern amenities. It was stocked with everything, super family/kid-friendly, it was extremely clean, well organized, and John & Tammi are very communicative and thoughtful. I just wish we'd had a few more days to enjoy it! We would definitely stay here again if we make the trip up here next year.
The location is amazing... Gorgeous mountain views without the endless miles of winding roads. It does have a steep gravel driveway, but we made it without 4WD. It's close to multiple quaint towns with adorable shops, good restaurants, etc. We picked this area to be close to Bryson City for the Polar Express, but our favorite outing was in Dillsboro to see the Christmas lights & luminaries which John & Tammi recommended. We ordered dinner to go from Foragers Canteen, and they brought it to us at the brewery next door, Innovation Station. The food and beer were delicious... and they have an area outside for the kids to play with a beautiful view of the lights. It was magical!!
