Check in was good. The breakfast was bad. Some of the cereals were stale. Not much of a selection. The bathroom floor needs the grout cleaned. The furniture could use an update. The nightly charge exceeds the quality of the stay. The bed was very comfortable.

It was mold everywhere entire building smelled like mold. Sheets and covers were dirty when we first got there my wife and kids were afraid to sleep on the beds thank God we had some blankets with us. It was very hard to breathe in the room the first night. They had to switch our room to upstairs the next morning that wasnt as moldy

The staff at this hotel are exceptional. We lived in the hotel 6 years ago when we first moved to town. The staff couldn't have been nicer - they made us feel secure and welcome. Imagine that during our recent stay, some of the same staff were there and remembered us. Bless them! This hotel has what you've come to expect from Quality Inn and the Choice Hotel group, but with the warmth of your home town.

This was a very nice regular hotel, they were in the middle of doing some construction so with that being said it was as clean as it could be. The bed was very comfortable but could use better pillows but they did their job. All in all a very nice stay. Also the lady at the front counter was so kind and incredibly nice, gave a very warm welcome. Would def stay there again.

The stay was very convenient for a one night stay. It should be noted that there is no elevator but there are only two floors. We were on the 1st floor which was great since my wife has knee and hip issues. The receptionists were very friendly and the bed was oh so comfortable. This will be my go to place whenever I am in Whiteville.

No pool as advertised

Stay was comfortable, room was clean, breakfast offered was limited,. Only negative is pool was advertised but upon arrival was closed and I was informed by staff its been closed for a long time, so maybe thay amenity should be removed, otherwise good stay, will recommend and would stay again.

I felt very secure there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I thought it was wonderful that you could fill up your cooler to finish your trip. Also the breakfast was great. Improvements was the shower head was not working correctly and I reported that. Also it would be nice to have complementary water. Other than that we enjoyed our trip.

The hotel itself felt and looked quite run down inside. This was particularly noticeable in the bathroom. In addition, the water pressure in the shower was particularly low making it difficult to get a good shower.

The best of the bad hotels.

Outside of the nice lady who checked us in this hotel is a disappointment. It is falling apart. Has bugs. And there is no elevator to the second floor. The problem is that it is the best hotel in Whiteville and I would never consider any of the others for a place to stay. If they really want to be a “Quality Inn” they need to tear this place down and rebuild.

We waited too long to book a hotel close to the interstate and this was the closest we could find. We got two rooms. The room I stayed in had a bathroom that looked like it had been cleaned once a week for the last 10 years - never a deep clean, looked like the floor behind the toilet had never once been cleaned. There was a stray hair in the shower, a hold in the door. We sucked it up, we were only there for 5 hours. The other room, however, had blood on the walls in the bed room, and two distinctly different hairs in the shower - so either from 2 people or from 2 different parts of the body…. They had no extra rooms. When we checked out we let them know the room was dirty, including blood on the wall, and they said they would refund us for that room. Great, that’s the right thing to do, yes? They never refunded us. We called, and they said they decided not to because they inspected the room after we left and didn’t find any blood on the wall. And, “there’s no way to know who those hairs belonged to” in the shower. Why would they offer to refund us if they weren’t going to? We didn’t ask for it, it was offered to us. If you have to stay here, solid chance you’ll live through the night, at least. But you might also contract a blood disease.

I occasionally HAVE to stay here because of business in the area. The front desk staff saved this rating. There was dirty underwear and a dirty towel left behind the bathroom door. The front desk clerk came and removed them and mopped the bathroom floor. No elevator but the front desk clerk did offer to help me carry my luggage up the steps. I should have remembered to request a downstairs room. I woke up during the night to find two bugs when I turned on the light. I killed them and tried to go back to sleep but that’s hard when you spend the rest of the night wondering if there are more. I did keep checking and didn’t see anymore. It is an older hotel so I know sometimes it is going to happen. Upside. The bed was comfortable. Also the breakfast is not much of a breakfast. They do have one waffle machine. No fruit no eggs, etc. Refrigerated little biscuits for you to microwave and watered down juice and cereal. When leaving the next morning the cleaning staff was coming in and a few of them reeked with the smell of marijuana. Perhaps this is the issue with housekeeping. Whiteville would benefit from a new hotel. This chain should tear this one down and rebuild. I know this sounds like it is absolutely dreadful and it is not the best but it is also not the worst. I’ve never found bugs before nor dirty underwear so hopefully they will make the corrections with the housekeeping and it will be better next time.
