"I gave it 5 stars because the staff is very accommodating EXCEPT, there is no elevator and we had to haul 3 large suitcases, plus 3 carryons UP and DOWN the stairs. No help was offered. But, they are holding those same bags (long story) for us while we galavant around the UK "

"This is probably the best hotel we have stayed at for many years. From the moment we arrived at reception the staff were always on hand if you needed anything. Every member was courteous, friendly and professional, always checking if we needed anything to make our stay more pleasant. Our room was a Superior double and had a beautiful view and was cleaned everyday. There was a wide choice of foods on the menu, which was excellent and they have an amazing chef. We were there to attend a residential weekend where we sang at a concert on the Sunday afternoon, and even here the staff were on hand to ensure everything was provided in time. We managed to visit the hotel’s spa which is a must for anyone who chooses to stay at this hotel. Thank you to all staff."
