Room on river with sunset views and private beach!
10/10 Excellent
"There are no words to describe how perfect our stay was hosts, property and location. We are truly grateful for everything,it was by all means life changing. Would 100% recommend this place for anyone wanting a perfect getaway and we will definitely return ."
"Absolutely gorgeous location and private beach was such a treat! Perfect for small kids and big kids, the bigger kids loved the paddle boats/surfboards! Fair warning, the mosquitos are abnormally horrendous, so unless you’re at the beach, you cannot be outside. Biting flies at the beach were terrible, as well, unless the winds were blowing. The house seems mostly well cared for and pretty much everything you need, all the beds were SUPER comfortable! I added a 9x13 glass baking pan to the kitchen inventory and a pastry cutter, but mostly everything you need is there. Owner was very responsive and promptly reimbursed me for the Keurig that needed replacement. The margarita machine is NOT usable, but we made do with the ninja. The downstairs master bathroom had a lot of bugs getting in through the window that is taped up and we had a pile of bugs in the sink every morning, as well as spiders/webs in the ceiling corners throughout the home, and ants overwhelming the kitchen, so some pest control could be in order. The master bedroom screen door was blown out and we I taped it up as a temp fix. Overall, the location and the home were stunning, we were grateful for the memories made and for the owner being very responsive!"
Waterfront Retreat w/ Hot Tub, Game Room, Kayaks, 2 Kings, + more!
8/10 Good
"Overall we had a wonderful vacation and the amenities were great. When we arrived the cleaners were still there and they didn’t leave for about 20 minutes after our check in time. The house could have been cleaner. Kitchen floor was dirty and some of the carpets appeared to not have been vacuumed as well as stains on the carpet throughout the main floor areas. The hot tub water was very cloudy. The house was beautiful otherwise and had a lot of helpful kitchen items. The BBQ was clean, but ran out of propane just in time for dinner to be done. The garage game room was so fun, but it was so hot in there even with the big fan on.Kayaking and paddle boarding was very fun. Catching crabs in the crab pots was also fun for all of us!We are likely to recommend this house to our friends."
"This was beautifully decorated, clean and well equipped rental. Even nicer than in the photos! We only used the upstairs bedroom which had a comfortable mattress. The weather was quite hot and humid during our stay and we found that the air conditioning kept both floors cool and comfortable. We needed a dog friendly rental for our small pup and this property totally met our needs. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others, even if you don’t have a dog."
MILLION DOLLAR VIEWS NO EXTRA CHARGE! POOL! PRIVATE HOT TUB! KAYAKS! EV CHARGER
10/10 Excellent
"I must admit, I thought the "million dollar view" was hype. It is not. The scenery from the back deck is AMAZING...a wide expanse of peaceful waters as you look out over Godfrey Bay and the Piankatank River is breathtaking. As a rule, we typically try not to visit properties that we've rented before, but this experience has my wife saying "Do you think we could come back this Fall?"There are more than enough activities offered at the property to keep you busy, and plenty of relaxing spaces indoors and out if you'd rather just chill. We spent an afternoon on the beach with our toes in the water, and it was about as peaceful and serene as you could get. We ate dinner down on Gwynn's Island at Hole In The Wall and had a very nice meal overlooking the water from their upper deck. I also have to give a shout-out to Robert, who was very available and responded promptly when we had a question about one of the amenities. Everything worked out perfectly with his assistance and helped us enjoy our stay.I think it's pretty safe to say that we'll be back! Thank you again for a wonderful getaway."
