"The rooms are well appointed and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was a refreshing change from the typical continental breakfast. It was nice to park just outside out room and there are areas to relax outside. "

"This area, Bluff, Utah, has basically nothing in it. The Desert Rose was our best option. That being said, the people working at the hotel and at Duke's Restaurant, are fabulous. They couldn't be nicer. BUT, the rooms are very dated, although freshly painted, and if you are on the bottom level, you will hear every step, every movement, every door, etc. We also had construction workers above us who decided to party until close to 1:30 a.m. on a Tuesday night. I called the front desk at 11:30 wanting to ask them to address this. No one was on the premises, which I believe is just bad business, and a liability. At 12:50 I finally went up to ask that they please go to bed, but they were too scared to even open the door. This is not something patrons should have to do. We pay to have a safe and quiet place to spend the night. We should not have to risk our safety to deal with inconsiderate guests. And construction/highway workers are in an area for a long duration, so I would assume this was not the first incident of this kind from them. Anyway, I would NOT recommend this property as a place to stay mainly from a safety aspect or for a quiet nights sleep."

"Great place to land! My family (2 adults and 4 children) found it very comfortable. While the house hosts 6, this would be a very tight squeeze for 6 adults. Read the listing carefully: there is no dishwasher and there is no TV. This was fine for my family and it is also clearly stated in the listing. We just streamed on our computers; we aren't big TV people anyway.We had a great time being able to recoup after a long week beforehand!"
